The Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) approved the suggestion of IRCICA on declaring the year 2010-2011 as a year for the commemoration of the passage of fourteen centuries on the revelation of the Holy Qur’an. The OIC’s program of commemoration was held in İstanbul on Sunday 26 Ramadan 1431H / 5 September 2010.
